Somebody should tell them that if you patch just one bad spot, the one next to it blows up.
Shall we crowd fund to buy them some wack-a-mole bats?

Interesting fact that Kentucky is home to Elaine Chao,
who is the Secretary of the Department of Transportation and also married to ...
Mitch McConnel. My guess is that neither of the two events occured in their backyard.

When it happens once, shame on you. When it happens twice, shame on me.

Oh it also occurs to me that many of you probably do not know that TC Energy, formerly TransCanada Pipeline, is also the owner of the infamous Keystone Pipeline Project. Opps. Actually an entirely different company. I'll reserve that for another story.

People with money don't have to live with the consequences as they wouldn't allow it in their backyards.

Fifty percent of the world’s carbon emissions are produced by the world’s richest 10%, while the poorest half – 3.5 billion people – are responsible for a mere 10%. This is according to a new report by Oxfam, which also found that the richest 1% of the world’s population emit 175 times more carbon than those living in the bottom 10%.

The damaging effects of climate change are also unequally distributed around the world. While the severe impact of climate change will be global, it is the world’s poorest (and least polluting) nations that are most vulnerable. Women living in these regions, who are often dependent on climate-sensitive livelihoods, will be most affected.

The World and Palm Islands residents in Dubai will some day have a rude awakening. I never saw any sense in buying into those. Nor in a lot of the buildings in Miami. Some sreets will be under water much of the time within 20 yrs if not sooner. I hear some are now getti g that way now.
