Hello all, I have several important files that, for some reason, are now failing to open. It seems that everytime I create a new model (nx3), any old files will no longer open. Can anyone help me ? :(

When I opened up an assembly it reads "The following files could not be loaded causing this open to fail: E:engineering/gear1/motion.prt -Internal error. When I tried to open an individual part, it says the same thing.

Run ug_inspect on the part.
Check your load options.

Try seeing the syslog file or open a Unigraphics log file. It may give some clue of why you could not open it.

Opening a log file
1. Try opening the file
2. It will throw an error as you specified
3. Select Help-> Unigraphics log file
4. An information window will open. Check out the last 30 lines.

Opening a syslog file
1. Try opening the file
2. It will throw an error as you specified
3. Search *.syslog and open the latest syslog file in your machine.

Syslog file may be helpful when you run external ufunc programs without opening a unigraphics session.

You may have to contact GTAC for any resolution. I recently had a part file that I couldn't open. UG_INSPECT reported it was corrupt. We sent it into GTAC but haven't heard any thing from them in a few weeks. Supposedly priority 1.
