Hi.

I'me trying to create some objects with diferent specifications each, and I've some (I'm sure) basic questions.

How can I define the line of a polygon (dot, dot-line, etc) in a block ?

How can I define the fill of the polygon ?

Can I define a block with a fill of squares (50cm x 50cm, for example) ? Like a mosaic floor of a house...

thanks in advance...

Your not real clear on what your asking

"How can I define the line of a polygon (dot, dot-line, etc) in a block ?"
are you wanting to create a line type or just a block that contains a polygonal shaped object that is made up of dots

"How can I define the fill of the polygon ?"

what do you mean by fill are you talking about a hatch or what ?? please elaborate

and yes you can define a block that looks & represents a mosaic tile patern i have done something similar with a wood floor design if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place

thank you shadow... I'll try to be more specific :

- About the line type, I've already made it... :)

- About the fill, what I want to do is to create a block and make it opaque, so when I put it above other I don't see what's behind. I've managed to do this using the hatch, but when I print the drawing, the "opaque" block is filled whith colour (I've tried to fill the block with white, but when I print it, it turns gray...)... I'm sure that there's another way to do this..

- About the mosaic floor, how can I define that kind of block ? With the hatch ?

Thanks again...

well i would start by creating a block that would containg the part of the pattern that repeats and then well this is only if you have express tools you can use the tool called super hatch (it may take a while depending on the complexity of the hatch) but it will fill the area you select just as if you use a hatch if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place
