Hi all
I have two questions about fired furnace residual heat when calculating relief rate.
Fired furnace upstream of crude unit, power failure scenario, furnace goes offline.
1.For dynamic simulaiton, the holdup volume is equivalent to radiant & convection section furnace coil,
or just equivalent to radiant section coil?
2.One article mentions use of 50% of normal duty as refractory residual heat, so normal duty is total duty of
radiant & convectionn section? or just duty of radiant section?
