flow of fluids and gasses 1

hello engineers,
can anyone help me to find a book or any document to give me the laws of flow of liguids and gasses and the bassic type of pumps ?

I know of no books that cover both subjects.
I know of no books that cover basics because those subjects are not basic. Sometimes, a chemical engineering book might have review chapters or small chapters dealing with both subjects.

I think your best option is to Google and pick the information off the net, being careful to weed out the erroneous information that can be found on the internet. Make sure the sight is reliable source and verify anything with at least 2 or more other sources before accepting anything.

For fluid flow, the bible for most of us is Crane Technical Paper #410. You can buy it online here:

For pumps, there's nothing that really jumps to mind as a 'bible' for pumps, but I've used "Pump Handbook" before, which is pretty good. You can buy it online here:

I reccomend you try this text book from Parker Hydraulics. Thay also have other books directly related to pumps.

Fan and pump laws are basically the same. Just different density, viscosity etc.

Fan laws are also identical.

which is a fan manufacturers association. They publish guides on fans and characteristics which at last count were free. Also Woods Ltd. a UK company (Now Flakt Woods) publish various excellent books on fans. If you are in an area that you are able to buy a Woods Fan, then the local sales rep might be able to wangle a book for you. (I did)

As you appear to be from Danfoss, you might be interested in an excellent publication by an independent UK trade association (GAMBICA) that has published a booklet called "Variable Speed Driven Pumps". It is easy to read and, as it is independent, there is no manufacturers bias. As a VSD manufacturer, we have even put this on our own intranet for our own people (with permission of course) to read.
