For Offshore Plant HVAC Firedamper 1

Pls give me some idea abt firedampers.We use spiral duct and would like to use the rectangular firedamper cos I cant get the round firedamper in local.I will use the transition piece (Round to rectangular) for that case.Is it possible

Try Halton-Marine Fire Dampers. They have round fire damper. What classification approval is required: DNV, BV ABS...??

Here is the cat. for circular fire dampers for offshore application.

You should decide the fire rating. A60 fire rated damper normally comes with A60 insulation on the control panel side. remaining insulation is normally done in the shipyard.

Thanks for ur advice.Our prject is using the Halton's products. But unfortunately our regional sales dpt dsnt have the round fire damper so if i would like to use i have to ordered from Europe .This will effect cost and schedule.
