Help!! - Dialog boxes not displaying

Does anybody know why the dialog boxes are not displaying. They used to display when i'd type in a command but now they just stopped for all the commands that have dialog boxes. Does it have to do with some sort of setting that i accidentally turned off. I can't seem to figure it out.
help please.

Type CMDDIA, is it set to 0 ?, if so set it to 1.

I used to have the same problem. Most of it is the variable CMDDIA is set to 0.

Adrian was right setting the CMDDIA to 1. But CMDDIA is only settings for the plotting dialog box.

To make sure try check all the variable settings for other dialog box (check variable with the letter DIA or BOX). You can acces the variable list by typing SETVAR at the command line.

Also you might want to see if FILEDIA is set to 1. Sometimes they go astray at the same time.
