Hmmm, Adebar, that sounds familiar......

Well, it's probably the right guy, but it's the wrong article.

Adebar, DESIGN OF HIGH-RISE CORE-WALL BUILDINGS: A CANADIAN PERSPECTIVE, The 14th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering, October 12-17, 2008, Beijing, China
Thanks, I check the link, it may not be the correct the document, the article is supposed to show all the detail for shear wall rebar design for basement.

using scholar.google.com brings up a number of similar papers.
Thanks for your reply, I checked and did not find

As far as I'm aware, Perry Adebar is still a professor at UBC, perhaps you can reach out through the University website and see if he has an updated link.

That link works. I just checked it. It just isn't for the right article the OP was asking about.

Okay, looking at that reference it may not have been a formal publication. It might have been something that later got fully published under a different name, or just a summary that Dr Adebar created as an example. The reference is his own UBC web space, and he's been pretty heavily involved over the year in general development and discussion of stuff.

What are you trying to figure out from the reference? The reference in the text just seems to be saying that the text is doing something similar to that previous work with some minor changes. So presumably the reference would be pretty similar to the example in the handbook.

Alternately, Dr Adebar is definitely around and active, and he could likely point you in the right direction.

I will approach him. BTW, I found a number of mistakes in the book, how come there are so many mistakes? people pay 300 C$ for it. I actually contacted a author for one chapter and ask him why so many mistakes in the book? no reply up-to-date
