I wanna to know, except AISC 360-05, what's code or SPEC is necessary for the design of connection of steel structure/building?

Thanks for you help!

IN TODAY'S ENGINEERING PRACTICE, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A“NORMAL”OR "STANDARD" STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS.

Well there is AISI S100 if you are dealing with light-gauge steel

AISC 341-05 for seismic provisions
RCSC Spec for structural joints using high strength bolts
AWS D1.1 Structural welding code - Steel

I am not sure what you are asking for, are you looking for information for connection design?

Ash060 basically has it right. Though there is also AISC 358-05.... And, a couple of revisions or addendums to them. Essentially, this is just a spec of "pre-qualified" connections per AISC 341.

To ash060:
Thanks for your quick answer, and it very helpful to me!

I am looking for some info. and goby for the design of connection, but I only had project experiences in California.
Now I work for a project in the east of US, So I wanna to know whether there is some special requirements for this area.

If you have above info., would you mind contact me via this forum..
Thanks again!

Your project contract should tell you what codes apply.
