Hole callout on circular surface

Hole callout on circular surface does not work. Please help.

Hi,

Not sure what you mean - is the surface planar but circular in shape? Or is the surface spherical?

And has the hole been created using the hole feature command?

That is a known issue.
A workaround is to create a tangent Datum plane first on the cylindrical surface. Use that to place the hole feature.
Then your callout will work. I believe it has been fixed in NX12

The datum plane workaround did not work. So LAME that it took them 12 versions to fix a "known issue". I guess I can say, I'm looking forward to NX 12 as we are still using 11.

On NX11.0.2 it is working, but only for Linear dimensions.
The radial dimension doesn't work.

So LAME that it took them 12 versions to fix a "known issue".

The hole Callout hasn't been there that long. I think it started in NX10?
