It's hard to know but, if this thing was "designed" at all, my money is on:

1) At the least, I'd be tempted to call it a kingpost truss with the big hoop in compression.

2) You'd get some Vierendeel action but I suspect that would wind up being pretty soft.

The green tubes have cables going up to the ceiling for support.
Is there more structure up there out of sight, or is that a slab spanning across there and also supporting the green tubes?
Where the white/hooped trusses connect to the columns, that does not look like a very beefy connection, which makes me wonder what they are actually supporting.
