How to learn circuit design rules for automation?

Hello, I'm a young automation engineer, I'm actually employed as PLC designer and programmer but I would like to understand more about electrical circuit design for automation, could you please suggest me a good book or another resource to start learning the basics of electrical cabinet wirings design?

my goal is to learn how to design electrical wirings that are inside and outside the electrical cabinet of a machine.
