HOWE ROOF and Truss Specification 1

Hello all!

I am confused a little about the naming of the members for Howe Roof structure and would appreciate if someone confirm the below naming convention it it is right or not ?

Additionally, when we assign the truss specification for such strucure do we assign it ti the whole view or only for some of those members ?

1) Rafters
2) Tie beam
3) Ridge beam
4) those members I do not know what are they called ? and what section are they usually assigned ? Do we assgin them the same section as the ridge beam (number 3 in the image above ) or as the truss members ( number 5 in the image above )

There are lots of ways to do this. What you want to call the members is mostly irrelevant, but struts or purlins for the longitudinal members I have heard. You can designate the diagonals and vertical to be truss members in the user interface or through the input file by member number. Here's the help topic on this:
