HVAC information for ship

Hello all, I was educated as EE, and now working with a company making air purification working as a filter in the duct of HVAC systems. The size of our product is 24x24.

For some reason, they are interested in the HVAC works on ships, such as Navy ships, cruise ships. So where could I get the information about the HVAC on ships?

Or any brief intro that how ducts/HVAC units are distributed on ships? Per deck/floor?

HVAC for ships is a specialised job because of the different weather zones a ship travels thru as well as the corrosive atmosphere it is exposed to.Ask your bosses to leave to specialists!

Ship design is a totally different animal from building HVAC. They do manufacture their own energy on ships, so you will not only design ducts, fans, etc, but you will need to get into co-generation to get your own power (inclusing your own water from a small de-salination plant).
The other thing is that all the fans, pumps, etc we use in the building industry do not apply on ships due to the marine environment, etc, etc..

Oh, and Naval (military) applications and requirements are very different from cruise ship.
