HVAC Tests

Hi All,

We are preparing a construction contract of a shopping mall. We must provide a test program in the contract. I need information on what tests regarding HVAC must be conducted and the phases of tests. I mean during installation, taking over and after completion.

A lot of the installation testing is likely Code required (plumbing drain water tests, pressurized pipe tests, etc.) Doesn't your office have any kind of master specs to use? Usually all master specs I've seen, either purchased or handed down from past designers in the office, contain all that material. Are you also asking about Commissioning once all the systems are activated, prior to occupancy? There are a number of good commissioning sample documents located here:
