When the NDT tests have been carried out at 100% of the welded joints, the hydrostatic tests must be carried out or they may not be carried out in b31.3.

We have made a line of 3 km of tailings of 34 ".

A hydrostatic test or a leak test is mandatory as per 345.1 to ensure tightness of the piping system.
Prior to initial operation, and after completion of the

Juan,
If your design is B31.3 you must follow the requirements - hydrotest required.
Without more information I would question why B31.3 is being used for 3km of above ground tailings ?

It may be depended on the service fluid category and what are types of NDT tests have been performed, and if this is a "golden weld" as defined and acceptable by the Client.
