Hi.

I need to build an injector driver circuit for two bosch injectors: 0 280 155 965 and 0 280 1150 749.

Both are high impedance injectors (15 ohm). My choice is using an LM 1949 as injector driver.

My question is: can i use peak and hold mode with this injectors or do i need to drive them with full current all the time the pulse widht lasts?

Thanks.

Why not use a saturated injector drive like the Siemens TLE5216S?

You can use the peak & hold function but why bother? The transition always creates a non-linearity in the fuel delivery curve.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

Thanks for reply.

LM1939 can be used for saturated driver too.

Saturated injectors just need a mosfet + zener, or an avalanche rated mosfet. Logic level adds convenience.

Google 'microsquirt injector drivers' or 'JBPerf 4-channel' for suggestions.
