Inspecting a jacketed vessel

What NDT techniques are available to assist in inspecting a jacketed vessel where access to the inside of the vessel (and of course the jacket) is difficult? UT is not great but does anyone have experience of the newer radiography techniques? Would they work? I need a technique for checking wall thicknesses for both vessel and jacket when the vessel is glass lined and has too small a manway for internal full internal access. In an ideal world, I would not need to strip off the insulation, either...

What type of product do you process inside the glass lined jacketed vessels?
 
Pharmaceutical active ingredients - so generally toxic rather than flammable. Vessel sizes vary from 800 litres to 2200 litres.
