join curves question

Hello again,

I'm trying to join curves with several fillets and then extrude them (I want to have kind of b-surface which later will be used for tangent mating condition). I'm using selection intent as "connected curves" and "follow fillets" option on, so with curves selection (and joining?) everything is ok. but after extrude the result is very strange (see attached prt file). sometimes in preview I can see the correct result, but final surface is like in this prt file. What I am doing wrong?
By the way, in the assembly this "strange surface" bahaving very oddly too.

We are using Nx 4.0.4.2 mp10
win xp 32bit

thanks.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with the surface itself, it's just the shaded display that is the problem. You can verify this if you change the display to Static Wireframe. Also you can create a section through the surface and you will see that it really is the proper shape (see my attached example). Now as to what you can do about it, I can't think of anything in NX 4.0, but this problem has been corrected in NX 5.0 (per the attached image below):

So the only real advice I can give you is to upgrade to a new version of NX (at least NX 6.0) ASAP.
