On April 28 a landslide inside the reservoir obstructed the deviation tunnel of the Cauca River, this coincided with the rainy season so that they had to flood the power house of the dam to prevent the water level from reaching the crest of the dam. Later the deviation tunnel was reopened by the pressure. The biggest fear is that the tunnel was not designed to withstand pressures so it may be breaking the mountain inland.
