I would like to know if I should get a metal type embossing seal or rubber type seal. NJ Board says that metal deal is the arthorized seal.

I want to check with other NJ PE to say what kind of seal you guys got since it is difficult to make photocopies of drawing of the embossing seal.

Only the metal embossing seal is accepted by the NJ board.

To my knowledge only the embossing seal is permitted in NJ. That is the only type of seal I have for NJ.

To photocopy the embossed seal, rub over it lightly with a pencil.

Thank you for your guy's input. I think I will just order a metal embossing type seal first. BTW, do you guys put No."GE xxxxx" on you seal or just No."xxxxx"?

Also where do you guys order those diploma-like wall ceritficate?

Thanks,

I put the GE with my number. I crimp seal copies of the original drawings and hope the architect doesn't want very many copies.

Thanks.

should we use "GExxxxx" or "24GE0xxxxx00" on the seal?

Sorry for this non-technical question.

My crimp seals starts with "GExxx". I was told by the state board that the leading "24" was not needed on the seal.
