Hello Eng-Tips,
I have to reinstall VIsual Basic 2010 Express Edition and after copied VBProject & VBWizard from NX: C:\Program Files\UGS\NX 7.5\UGOPEN\vs_files\VB (folders and files) to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VB. From File>New Project>NX7 Open VB Wizard a message on the bottom left corner says "Creating project 'NX7_Open_VB_Wizard'...project creation failed.

Any ideas what could be the problem??

Best regards.

I think the NX7.5 VB Wizards only worked with VB 2008. With VB 2010 I only use the wizards for NX8.5. For earlier NX versions (including NX8) I start a Class Library and add the appropriate NX libraries.

Thanks Frank for your insight, but I must said that it worked before on a WinXP x86 + VB2010 EE + NX7.5 x86 and Win7HE x64 + VB2010 EE + NX7.5 x64 the issue is with Win7Pro x64. I even copie VBProject and VBWizard from VB2010 EE directory on WinXP x86 to Win7Pro x64 VB2010 EE directory and it didn't work!!! I will try with VB2008 as soon is possible. Thanks.

Best Regards

I have successfully used VB express 2010 with NX 7.5, but I had to edit a line in the NX7_VB.vsz file. My file was located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VB\VB Projects\NX7_VB.vsz, location for you may be different.

Mmmm...Im working on a PC with WinXP Pro x64 + NX7.5 without VB and checked the NX7_VB.vsz file and on the second line stated Wizard=VsWizard.VsWizardEngine.9.0 I will check/edit on the PC with the issue as soon I get a chance. Thanks cowski for the insight.

Regards.

Ok...problem solved, just find file default_dll.vbproj and double click and follow instrctions. Simple.
