I'm having a somewhat similar problem to:

I have a drafting where some geometry is partly transparent through a solid object. I cannot select the lines to do some manual edits, to remove them, so no easy fix to the glitch. Setting the model to wireframe only makes the problem worse, as all the hidden lines now cuts through the solid object. I want to have a drafting representation looking like the 3D model, just with normal contour lines like any other 2D drawing.
