NX8.5. How to add user pause into the journal file

Hi All,

I have created a journal file. I need to put a pause, so that user can select the options in the dialog box. Iam not able to do that..

Iam learning to create the journal files..

Looking at your journal I can't see where you have any user inputs. Am I missing something here?
How do you want your journal to be interactive with the user...eg pick the face, put the number of curves in etc etc???
If so, doesn't the "out of the box" NX command give you this already or are you just experimenting?

I was trying to have a toolbar with a button which will run the journal in the background.. yes.. I want to pause for user to select the face and number of curves etc.

Please can you help in fine tuning the journal?

If you want to provide interactive input to your journal, then the journal needs to display a dialog. For examples take a look in ...\Program Files\Siemens\NX 9.0\UGOPEN\SampleNXOpenApplications\.NET\ or search the Knowledge Base in GTAC.

If you just want to replay NX UI steps with a pause, a macro may work for that.
