I have an NXOpen applciation that I've written/compiled with VS 2008 for NX 7.5 that opens a part file, makes geometric changes, and then exports jpegs of the part. The jpegs to be exported are of variable sizes (width/height) based on the geometries of the particular part.
My issue is that I'm running the application from the command prompt without having the UG/NX window open.
My questions are as follows:
1) Is it possible to export jpegs of the part without opening up a modeling session of the part?
2) If 1) is not possible, how can I force UG to open a modeling session with a specific pixel ratio/size for the width + height. The pixel size I refer to would be for the graphics portion of the ug window, not including the menus/toolbars.
Additionally, the application will be running on a server without a monitor associated with the machine. Does this complicate the jpeg export at all or not?
Thanks guys!
