Hi,

I'm a solidworks user, just started working on NX. I can't figure this out by myself. How can I connect the end point of the green curve in the picture right on the circle from previous sketch?

If I first sketch the curve then sketch the circle and use on-point relationship it works. However,I can't do the opposite (When I try to connect the end point of a curve to an existing sketch, like the circle in the picture)... In solidworks you could always use pierce relationship in these situations.

Thanks,

Vahid

Look at putting in an intersection point. Assuming your plane goes through your circle. Then you constrain the end point of your curve to the intersection point.

Thank you SDETERS! that probably works, but would you please tell me how to specify that point of intersection?

EDIT : I found it in command search...Intersection point:) Thank you.

Does anyone know some other solutions?

If I'm following you correctly, I think it's just a matter of the order in which you've created the sketches. The 2 curve sketches (parallel sketches) need to be ordered before the circle sketch. Point on curve should work in the circle sketch, depending on what all you've constrained. You can't create one of the curve sketches last and expect to use it in the circle sketch. Feature order matters, even for sketching. You can reorder the 2nd curve sketch before the circle sketch in the Model Navigator - no need to delete the sketch and recreate it. Make sure any datums used for those sketches are also reordered properly (datums before sketches for which they're used).
