I have a Komatsu PC50, 12,000# excavator. There is a foot control valve that operates the offset for the boom and I would like to plumb a solenoid valve to run a ram for the thumb or the offset alternately off the same in/out lines currently on the offset ram. I think I need a two way, two port valve but I am having trouble finding the right one amongst all the valves out there. Can anybody help?

Look at the Cross SD4 (Manual) or SD5 (Solenoid Operated) diverter valve to see if this is what you are asking for.

You need a two-position six-port valve. Two position to select side shift or thumb. Two ports for system in-out from the foot valve output, two ports for the side shift, two ports for the thumb. The side shift and thumb both have double-acting cylinders.

Or consider a thumb/tilt kit from HKX:

Thank you very much to Bud and Ted both for steering me towards the right part

I just did this on a pc50. I found a solenoid diverter valve from surplus center that worked. If you have any questions let me know.

Thank you sir, I found a new valve. Cost over 300 bucks and I still haven't plumbed it in, if I could just plan a little down time...
