In the IBC, what is the maximum spacing allowed to reach the table values for allowable diaphragm loads (table 2306.4.1) for members supporting the plywood diaphragm? I have it in my head that it is 24" o.c.

The span can be taken to 48" on center for supporting members, but the plywood thickness would have to increase. Look at Table 2306.3.1, note "b".

Where do you go for plywood vertical load carrying capacity? Do you use the IBC values?

Correct, for the appropriate span.
