I am looking for a relatively quick easy way to do polar charts in excel (for example rotating machine balance solution based on O, O+T).
I can convert the polar coordinates to rectangular coordinates for x-y plotting but that is not quite enough. I would like to also have polar gridlines. I guess I could create series to form my own gridlines but that seems a pain in the butt for something so simple.
I have searched this forum. The threads below addressed polar plotting somewhat but do not meet my needs
thread770-75252
thread770-110711
Any suggestions?
