Hello,
Are there any concerns with locating HPU system and battery bank in the same pre-fab building from safety perspective? Any industry codes one would have to follow?

What type of batteries?

Batteries sometime emit gases which need ventilation and to be kept separate from other areas.

But are often in the same building, just a separate room.

Can't speak for US but in Australia there are both specific standards (some of them outdated and in permanent review) for battery installations, as well as restrictions in our National Construction Code for certain types of installations. I would expect that there is at least some applicable constraint present in your location.
