Project Curve - Sketch onto Face 2

I am trying to project a simple sketch onto faces. But I keep getting the error "sketch not suitable...more than one open/closed profile". Does this mean that a sketch has to be a closed or single segment in order to project it?

Actually, it can be one single segment, one closed profile or one continuous profile (not a T or H shape).

I often do this with a sort of zig-zag single sketch. So I can break a single face into lots of them, as long as the line segment I use to break the face connect to each other to create a single "path". The connecting segments are simply outside the boundaries of the part.

Saves time, keeps your feature tree trimmed.
