Renaming tree in v5r16 products

Hello,

I have a product with this tree:
Product1-Part1
-Part2
-Part3
-.....
The parts are also saved on hardrive with the same names.
I need to rename those parts with new names that i receive from my customer. My question is: Is there a way to remane a part on harddrive and catia automatic rename it on the tree???
Or rename it on the tree and catia automatic rename it on the harddrive?

You can use file save management and "save as" each part to the new part numbers. This will make a copy of the new part number and then you will have to remove the old parts from the hard drive. Another way is to rename the parts in the hard drive but then you will have to re-link the files using the desk function when you open the assembly. Hope this helps
