Rupture Disc piping

Do the same standards apply to the allowable pressure drops to inlet and outlet piping for a rupture disc (alone, no PSV) as for a PSV? For instance, does the pressure drop going to the rupture disc still need to be within 3% of the burst pressure? And what about the discharge piping? Does this depend on which rupture disc you buy?

Technically, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.

The instant the RD blows, it's simply pipe flow, whether it is non-compressible, compressible, gas/vapor, liquid, or two phase flow. You are bound by your Code on overpressure rules though.
