Safety Clearance 1

Hi,

I would like to know how do you guys set the safety clearance for the following type;

i. Minimum horizontal safety clearance from the nearest conductor
ii. Insulation Requirement - Rated short duration power frequency withstand voltage
a. phase - Earth and between phase;
b. across open switching device and/or isolating distance;

according to 275 kV Substation, the following answer are
i. 3900mm
ii. a. 395 kV
b. 425 kV

I would like to know 132 kV and method to calculate or any standards related to them ?

Safety clearances tend to be country specific depending on legislative requirements, Company or industry standards, safety rules and procedures. Which country are you concerned with?

I can’t open the attachment. From Australian standard AS 2067 and IEC 60694 there are the results:
Minimum horizontal safety clearance from the nearest conductor : AS2067 Table 1 275[300] KV 3914mm 132[145] KV 3330 mm
ii. Insulation Requirement - Rated short duration power frequency withstand voltage : IEC 60694 Table 2a 300[275]KV ; 145[132] KV Table 1a
a. phase - Earth and between phase: 380 KV ; 275 KV
b. across open switching device and/or isolating distance : 435 KV ;315 kV
