If some one says dense sand then will you consider it as satured or unsatured.

The density of sand has little or nothing to do with saturation. Sands at low density may be saturated and sands at high density may be saturated.
What is your issue? Please explain.
 
In standard Penetration test, Numerical calculations for Overburden pressure correction. I got into a question which mention only dense sand .I am confused whether while calculating effective pressure (σ_0 ) i should take pore water pressure into account or not.
 
Then your issue is whether or not to consider your condition to be "drained" or "undrained". This means that as load is applied, will the water be forced out of the pores or will it be confined so that pore pressures build. Look at the soil characteristics above and below your point of interest and also look at the soil properties other than its relative density.
