As per NB-3411.1, Pump Seal Housing and Seal glands falls under the jurisdiction of ASME.
Does this means Mechanical Seals have to be ASME qualified . Hence, Mechanical Seals needs to have qualifications as per ASME requirements.
I am totally not clear about application of ASME on Mechanical Seals.
Please guide with ASME sections.
