Is the Reverse Engineering tool an add on? I am always looking for new ways to work with .stl files.

it's an extra license, depending on what license you have today.

When Tomas says "...depending on what license you have today", he's referring to the fact that if you purchased your seats of NX as software 'bundles', that different 'bundles' have a different mix of applications that can be run using that particular 'bundle'. Whomever you purchased your software from, be it Siemens PLM or one of our partners, can advise you as to the exact content of the 'bundles' that you are licensed to use and how you would go about getting access to any additional applications that might not be included in any of your current 'bundles'.
