Hello!

Has anybody any experience in structural FEA analysis in accordance with Eurocode in SolidWorks?

Regards!

That is a very vague question. Is your question SolidWorks related or more towards the Eurocode aspects, or just FEA of this application in general?

I would say a combination of them, but more about how to restrain the 3d model in accordance with Eurocode (if there is any specific rule) and should static or non-linear analysis be performed?

You can do static linear, but you have to include all nonlinearities in manual shell buckling checks (acc to eurocode), such as compressional meridional buckling ...
The other way is to do non linear..including all material and geometrical nonlinesrities in your solidworks model.
Alot of general info is included in eurocodes themselves and various articles you can google easiely.

Great! Thanks!

Can you point me to the specific Eurocode number on how to perform static and nonlinear studies? Does Eurocode provide any boundary conditions for both studies?

Edited:

Is it just 1993-1-6 to follow?

Yes most of the checks for shells, general info, and boundary conditiond are there, you got also 1993-4-1 specificly for silos and 1998-4 if seismic is involved.
Prof. Rotter is the mastermind behind those codes (and previous german DIN codes for shells). You can find some of his articles and even books freely on internet
