Hello!
I am trying to simulate transient run where a beam element (body1) slides along long cable (body2) modeled also by beams elements fixed at both ends. I use sol400 and beam-to-beam contact to handle this phenomenon.
I have observed that body1 is getting lower and lower during simulation, while the contact is mantained. I have tried to increase sampling frequency in NLSTEP to 10000Hz and it helped a lot but I think there are other things to optimize which I don't know.
Maybe you are more experienced and could give me some tips?
Regards, Paweł.
