Does anyone know of a resource to clearly show when Overstrength is required based on seismic design category and building component. The information is just littered in the ACSE and some info in the ACI. A flow chart makes too much sense to not exist. Thanks in advance!

It's all there in chapter 12, best place to start is to check for vertical/horizontal irregularities and compare to your seismic design category. Beyond that, it's following the provisions listed out in ASCE.

Yes, I know it's in chapter 12. I am looking for a flow chart for efficiency.

There's also a lot of requirements in ACI and AISC for overstrength that is only indicated in ASCE as 'detailing requirements.'

I would recommend that you develop flow charts for the ASCE requirements, and the separate material requirements as different documents.

If noone knows of them I will make them, but I'm sure these charts already exist.

You are sure huh? You could try SK Gosh they always have good stuff like that.
