Temperature factors for Fasteners

I am trying to determine whether I need to use the Ct temperature factor for roofing fasteners into plywood. Uplift is my controlling factor and I am not sure I need to apply this or not. During a wind event I doubt the temp. will be above 100 degrees but the NDS does say something about "sustained exposure". Roof is in Florida and I know it will probably stay over 100 degrees for most of year but when the fastener is going to see its max load I doubt it will be over 100 degrees....any thoughts on this?

It was 100-120 degrees +, five minutes before the wind storm, and the fasteners and the rest of the roofing system probably do not cool down that quickly. So, you be the judge. But, I think the temp. coef. applies primarily to the wooden parts of the system, not the metal components. Take a look at the commentary parts of the NDS, and some Wood Design texts for some further enlightenment on the issue. The codes are certainly becoming all encompassing and inclusive in their take on design requirements and adjustments. Pretty soon there will be adjustment factors for barometric pressure, moon phase and the mood of the bldg. occupants, as these relate to the mechanical props. of the bldg. material.
 
Hurricane peak season is May to September. I would definitely account for this temp + wind event.
