Using *fac

In draw mode, how do I get CATIA to recognize the faces that are there using the *fac command? I'm getting "empty batch" when the using *fac while using the "SPC>DR2 PROJECT EXACT" command string.

Faces must be "diplay mode sensitive" for drw extract
