I am searching for a polypropylene resin grade that I may spec for an injection molded part. The criteria are that it is a preapproved FDA compliant plastic and that the material blocks at least 90% of transmission of UV light. What I'm struggling with is how to spec this second characteristic and thus how to search for resins. Is there an ASTM standard test that measures UV transmission? I am aware of ASTM D1003 but as I understand it it does not seem to be what I need. Your help is greatly appreciated.

It is also ideal that resin is translucent

White zinc oxide filled with the zinc at about 40nano I think blocks UV but not visible light.
