I have to strength weld the Ti SB 265 gr.1 with the Zr SB 523 R 60702. Do you have any reference/data on the matter?
Supposing to use orbital GTAW process, which consumables and welding parameters?

Thanks

Unfortunately I already tried twice without got any reply.

That is most unfortunate. I am not sure that these two metals can be arc-welded and still produce a joint with good strength/ductility/toughness. Friction welding and explosive welding/bonding may be better alternatives. I suggest you keep trying to contact someone from Wah Chang, as they are probably one of the few companies (maybe the only one) that would have any experience and expertise in this area.
