A kick could force the drill pipe against the wall of well resulting in the piping being stuck.

ScotchWhisky has it right. Kicking a well could cause the drill pipe to become stuck.

A kick can cause a drill pipe stuck because when you have a kick that means the drill bit will not have enough time to mill/grind the formation so that will lead to cuttings being at bigger sizes than expected which means again that these cuttings may not be lifted up to surface and thus eventualy may cause a stuck pipe since it will gather down-hole.

Please look up differential pressure sticking.
