    Weld reinforcement has nothing to do with efficency. Maybe you are thinking about Section I? Up untill the 1980's you only got 100% when the reinforcement was removed. Review UW 11 and 12.

    TomBarsh: you are correct in the above case 1 spot is all that is required. Some manufactuers don't understand UW-11(a)(5)(b).You would not belive some of the answers I get when preforming a Joint Review.

    Things Have changed a lot from 1979. The test now covers Sect I, IV,VIII, B31.1 in the math section. Section IX in the welding section. On The general Section it covers Sections I, 31.1, IV, V, VIII, IX and the NBIC. Only one insurance company still runs their own class.
