Go to --> Tools ---> Assign Materials --> Click the already assigned materials(Always the 1st one as shown in attachment)
Then Click Remove materials (See Attachment)

So as per my understanding, We can't edit the vertical or Horizontal dimension once created, Instead we can use Perpendicular and point to point.
