    helical sweep

I finally got it. I was able to make a variable section sweep along curves. Then I did a projection sweep to get my coil along the curve. Does anyone know if it is possible to vary the distance between the coils on the same variable section sweep? I used trajpar*360*N where N is the distance...

    PRO E Wildfire file types.

The files I am trying to open is for aluminum extrusions, fasteners, etc. I think that the CD that the company gave me just doesn't work with wildfire. It has 2001 as an option but when I try and open the file it wants me to start proe 2001 when I already have wildfire open. If you have any...

    2D assembly lines

Does anyone know how to hide the assembly lines that show up on a 2D drawing? It would make the 3D view on the 2D drawing look better. On cables I can usually do a break and get rid of it, but not on the 3D views.

I am using Wildfire 1. On the CD it does not list wildfire as a program to open the files. It only lists Pro/E 2001.

    Text on a datum curve

Does anyone know if it is possible to draw text on a datum curve? I am trying to draw text on a cylindrical surface. I figured that I could draw the text from a datum plane then make a cut but it doesn't look the same.

I tried the different formats but still no luck. I don't know much about 2001 so I don't know why these files will not open in wildfire. Any ideas? Thanks

    PRO E Wildfire file types.

I have a cd with parts that are viewable by PRO E 2001 and many other 3D programs but wildfire is not an option. Does anyone know a certain type of file format or anyway I can get wildfire to view these files?
