Does anyone know what's the deflection formula for a beam overhang one support for a triangular distributed load over the entire beam? Beam is supported by two supports.
It's Region 11. Bridgebuster, what is the limiting criteria for deflection? I found the NYC DOT Highway rules August 2016 edition and it says for plating and decking if the deflection is more than 3/4", heavier sections or plates or decking or intermediate supports shall be used.

The spall is 2 1/2" with a 3" cover so I guess it would make sense to removing 100% of the cover concrete.How would you indicate that you are replacing all of the stirrups?Would you do it in a note or mention it in the procedure and detail drawing?
My detail has the contractor to chip out concrete at least an inch past the spalled concrete.
