    PTC login problem

Ok, I just installed FireFox 16 and now I can log into both sites with no issues. I guess FireFox is my new Internet Explorer!!!!!

    PTC login problem

I just sat at my new PC and went thru all the "Internet Options" tabs and compared to my laptop and have everything set exactly the same. The new PC still will not let me log into ptc.com or precisionlms.ptc.com. I never saw the word "cookies" used anywhere within the "Internet Options" menu...

    PTC login problem

I have just purchased a new home computer and can not login into any ptc sites like ptc.com, precisionlms.ptc.com. If I try and login to the ptc.com site I enter my username and password and it says "PTC.com account not authenticated". When I try to login to the precisionlms.ptc.com site I enter...

    Cut Out in Pro E

I guess I don't know what you mean by "export". My instructions I listed are all within ProE. I could go into my assembly fan_test.asm and adjust the fluid.prt dia and or length of the extrusion and then regenerate successfully as I did within the fan.prt file I showed earlier. I also don't...

    Cut Out in Pro E

By the looks of your screen shot you are using ProE WildFire 5.0. These are the steps I created to get what I think your looking for: 1. Crete an empty assembly, set accuracy to absolute .01. Name the assembly fan_test. 2. Create an empty part, set accuracy to absolute .01. Name the part fan. 3...

    Part cutout - WF4

Yes you will have to delete the cutout of part let's say "A" and then create a new cutout of the desired part let's say "B". This is the same when using copy geometry, but it would tell you "You are allowed to select on one part only". Drfaust...

    Zoom into small component

Unfortunately 75% of these small components are placed by Coord Sys and will not give a clue to there location but I do thank you for your suggestion. Thanks...

    Zoom into small component

It seems the best way (which isn't that great) is to select the extrude of the small part from within the model tree of the top level assembly and just select edit definition and let sketcher zoom into the part. Then I can manually zoom out until I can figure out a location for the part within...

Will give it a try Monday morning. Thanks.

    Zoom into small component

Yes that is correct about hiliting but unable to see on the screen. A 1mm X 1mm X 5mm part is like "literlly looking for a needle in a hay stack". Thanks.

    Zoom into small component

The accuracy is already set to Absolute = .01mm per our Meshing software requirements. I was hoping that inside the "Find" menu within Proe WildFire 4.0 there would be the option that once you select the item to find it would hilite the item within the model and possibly then zoom into it.

    Zoom into small component

I am working in a large assembly (component amounts and machine overall dimensional size). The problem I am having is trying to zoom into a small 1mm X 1mm X 5mm component placed inside the machine. I am wondering if there is a way I can select the component I want to find by name or pick from...

    Finding Tool

    1. If you know the number of the draft you are looking for hilite it in the items found column and it should hilite and jump to that draft in the model tree. 2. With the draft selected, select the arrow between the items found and the items selected boxes and the selected draft will remain...

    Finding Tool

In the part open search tool, look for = feature, look by = feature, Attributes rule = type, Comparison = is equal to, Category = All, Value = Draft. This will show all draft so if you know a specific # you could enter that #. Good luck....

Can I shut off the file open preview pane at the bottom of the File Open window or atleast keep it hidden when selecting files to open? I am running WF 4.0. Thanks....
